What is Early Table?

Early Table is Ireland’s new promotional dining platform offering diners discounts in restaurants nationwide. Customers can get exclusive offers at our partner restaurants. It’s the perfect incentive for food lovers to try new and exciting restaurants while we help restaurants to fill tables at off-peak times. Restaurants gain incremental revenue by securing bookings for otherwise empty tables during off-peak. All restaurants have full flexibility and control on the number of tables and seating times. Best of all, there are no contracts and its completely free for restaurants to join! Gain great visibility online as we will promote your restaurant on multiple marketing channels, including our booking site, to over one million potential customers. Each customer will pay a small booking fee reducing potential no-shows. Get exposure to a wide range of free training, seek expert advice and exceptional customer support from industry experts with years’ of experience in the restaurant industry.

We give diners a great reason to try your restaurant for the first time and you benefit from free marketing to an engaged audience, click here for Marketing Material. Together with the RAI we have a nationwide PR campaign planned to create awareness and encourage participation. You will have the opportunity to be featured on the home page of the website, weekly marketing emails, blog posts, and all social channels. What are the booking details & are there any exclusions?

The Early table deal is up to 50% off food only. Drinks are always full price. We have a minimum table size of two people and a max of eight people. There are no minimum order sizes. Customers can spend as much or as little as they like, the discount will be deducted at the end of the meal.  

If your restaurant has special conditions attached to your Early Table offer, please make sure to list these under ‘special conditions’ when loading your availability. The customers will then be made aware and accept these conditions prior to making their booking. Any customer exclusions or allergies will be included in the confirmation email.

Is there a confirmation email sent to the customer once received by the restaurant?

Yes, the customer will receive an email once they make the booking.

Does the restaurant receive full contact details for the customer?

Yes, the restaurant will receive the name, phone number and email address of the customer.

Is there a minimum order?

No, however the restaurant can impose a minimum order in the Terms and Conditions of the restaurant.

How are booking received into the restaurants?

You can see upcoming bookings and recent bookings on your Early Table account, both parties are sent a confirmation email.

Once the booking is made by a customer on the Early Table site is it confirmed?

Yes, the booking is confirmed once the payment is finalized.

What is the cancellation/no show policy?

The customer can cancel 2 hours before the booking, the restaurant will receive confirmation through email that the customer has cancelled their booking. The customer will pay a fee of €20 per person if they do not cancel in time and do not show. The restaurant will have full responsibility of retrieving the no show fee.

Do we only have to apply the discount to bookings via early table or to all bookings that week?

The restaurant will only have to apply the discount to the booking your restaurant receives through the Earlytable booking platform.

What is the maximum amount of covers per table?

There will be a maximum of 8 covers per table.
