Paulies Pizza

I decided to book Paulies Pizza as it has always been one of my go to places and when I saw that they were on Early Table it was a no brainer. Nestled in Grand Canal Street, this cozy pizzeria exudes a welcoming ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat.

As I entered Paulies Pizza, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air, instantly awakening my appetite. The friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and guided me to a cozy table of my choice. The rustic decor, dim lighting, and vibrant wall art added a touch of charm, creating a relaxed and laid-back ambiance that was perfect for enjoying a delicious meal.
The pizzas were by far the stars of the show! Paulies Pizza offers an impressive array of options to satisfy every palate. From classic Margherita to gourmet creations bursting with unique flavour combinations, there was something to tempt every taste bud even if you are not a pizza fan. After much contemplation, I decided to go with their signature "Super Picante" – a delightful combination of spicy salami, fresh chill, red peppers, rockets, tomato sauce & mozzarella, and my friend opted for the “Hero” – a pizza made of parma ham, pepperoni, salami, red peppers, mozzarella & tomato sauce.

With each bite, I was transported to pizza paradise. The crispy crust was the perfect foundation, providing a delightful crunch that complemented the rich, tangy tomato sauce. The generous toppings were fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. It was evident that Paulies Pizza takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients and crafting each pizza with care.
While pizza is undoubtedly the star of the show at Paulies, their menu extends beyond these delectable creations. From savory pasta dishes to fresh salads and mouthwatering desserts, there's something to please every palate. On a previous visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in their creamy and flavourful Lamb Cacciatore w/ fresh tagliatelle, and I couldn't resist sampling their delectable Tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece that left me wanting more.

One aspect that truly stood out during my dining experience at Paulies Pizza was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about ensuring that each customer had an enjoyable time. It was a warm day out and they even went as far as to offer us sunscreen. From offering recommendations to checking in on me throughout the meal, their genuine warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of comfort to my dining experience.

Conclusion:

Paulies Pizza has undoubtedly stolen a pizza-loving foodie's heart, and I can confidently say it has become my favorite spot in town. From the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff to the irresistible pizzas and diverse menu options, every visit to Paulies Pizza is a memorable experience. If you find yourself in Dublin or around Grand Canal Street, craving a slice of heaven, make sure to stop by Paulies Pizza for an unforgettable dining adventure that will leave you wanting more. We ended up saving €30 by booking through Early Table which was a bonus to a great day out.
