Grapevine Wine Shop & Restaurant has been a staple of Dalkey, County Dublin since 1999. They are situated in the heart of the town and offer an extensive wine list featuring great quality wines at affordable prices. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday from midday, and guests can enjoy lunch or dinner in the restaurant or on the outdoor terrace.

The menu at Grapevine Restaurant has something for everyone, from steaks and seafood to vegetarian dishes. The head chef, Paul Regan, who has previously worked at FXB and Green Hen, is in charge of the kitchen. Starters include prawns pil pil with toasted sourdough, homemade duck croquettes, and pan-seared king scallops, among others. Some of the most popular main courses are the roast fillet of hake with nduja mussel broth, samphire, broccoli, and hollandaise, and the short rib of beef with creamy mash, heritage carrot, green beans, parsnip puree, and red wine jus.

Vegetarian options are also available, such as the butternut squash risotto with parmesan, gremolata, and crispy sage. Grapevine sources their ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the country, including McLoughlin Butchers, Kish Fish, Sean Ring Chicken, and Firehouse Bakery.

In addition to their wide selection of wines, Grapevine now offers a range of cocktails. The restaurant manager, Omar Bux, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry, oversees the bar. Grapevine welcomes all guests to come and enjoy their food and drink offerings, whether for lunch, dinner, or on their outdoor terrace during the summer months. Bookings can be made online at
